The 4th West China Health Policy and Economic Doctoral Student Forum was held at West China School of Public Health

On November 3, 2019, the 4th "West China Health Policy and Economic Doctoral Forum" was held at Zhide Hall at West China School of Public Health, Sichuan University. This form was hosted by the West China School of Public Health at Sichuan University, West Rural Health Development Research Center, and Healthy Urban Development Research Center. This forum is held once a year, aiming to strengthen the exchange of doctoral students in the field of health policy and economic research at home and abroad and enhance the awareness and ability of innovation.

Professor Wu Qunhong (Dean of the School of Health Management, Harbin Medical University), Professor Chen Wen (Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Fudan University (2017-2019)), Professor Zhou Zhongliang (Vice Dean of the School of Public Administration, Xi'an Jiaotong University), and Professor Zang Wenbin (Vice Dean of the School of Public Management, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics), Associate Professor Zhao Li, Associate Professor Chen Dandi and Liu Zhenmi from West China School of Public Health, Sichuan University attented this form. More than 150 doctoral students, master students and young scholars from over 20 domestic universities participated in the forum, including Xi'an Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Sichuan University, Tsinghua University, and Fudan University. This forum was chaired by Professor Pan Jie, Vice Dean of the West China School of Public Health (West China Fourth Hospital) of Sichuan University.

This forum was fully affirmed by the participants. It facilitated the academic communications across universities, provinces and countries, and tracked the cutting-edge research, and establish a stable academic relationship between participants, which is an important step towards forming an academic community of health policy and economics for young scholars.
