From October 18th to 20th, the 2019 Healthcare Management Forum for Young Scholars was successfully held in Chengdu. This form is hosted by West China School of Public Health (West China Fourth Hospital) at Sichuan University, Western Rural Health Development Research Center of Sichuan University, Healthy Urban Development Research Center of Sichuan University, Sichuan Health Economics Association, the China Medical and Health Management University Alliance,  and the Youth Committee of the Health Care Management Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Society.

The topic of this form is “Healthy Economics and Policy under the Health China Strategy". Over 200 people participated in this form, including Cao Ping (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Sichuan University), Professor Zhang Liang, (Secretary-General of the China Medical and Health Management University Alliance), Professor Lv Jun (Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Health Care Management Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Society), Professor Pan Jie (Vice Dean of West China School of Public Health and West China Fourth Hospital at Sichuan University), and many experts and young scholars in health management from 69 well-known universities and research institutions at home and abroad.

The forum officially opened on the morning of October 19th. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Pan Jie. The opening speech was delivered by Cao Ping, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Sichuan University. At the opening ceremony, Professor Lv Jun made an important speech, hoping that this forum can be an opportunity to further strengthen the learning and exchange between young scholars in the medical and health management industry at home and abroad and promote the development of China's healthcare.

On October 19, the experts in health management from the well-known research institutes gave keynote speeches focusing on the core issues of national health development under the "Healthy China" strategy. During the period, 36 young scholars from universities at home and abroad made poster presentations.

 On the morning of October 20th, there are four sub-forums focusing on the topics of "interdisciplinary integration of health management", "health policy formulation and evidence-based", "health economics", "design implementation and evaluation of health service projects". Twenty-four scholars from China made on-site reports and discussions.

At the end of the form, the Secretary-General of the Alliance, Professor Zhang Liang, made a closing speech, fully affirming achievements of the forum.
